BaseLog software is made available on this page as a service to users of Infobyte noise loggers. The software requires registration to unlock all the features. This can be done free of charge by contacting Infobyte head office.

BaseLog 2.8 is the latest version of the post processing program for Infobyte noise loggers. BaseLog is a Win 32 application with integrated graphical and text editing capability. It should run on PC's with Windows XP through to Windows 11. If running with Windows 10 or 11 you will likely see a warning screen that you will need to tell windows you really want to run the app.

There is a link below to a ZIP file containing the application and some example files. You must unzip the file manually on your PC to a directory of your choosing on your hard disk. This should not require any extra software with Windows 7 or 8, but will need an extraction utility like WinZip with Windows XP. No changes are made to your PC other than placing the files on your disk drive. It can also run on a flash drive, but will be much slower. BaseLog may be removed by erasing the single directory and the contained files.

The application BaseLog.exe is run by clicking on the file (or double clicking) in Windows Explorer (or making a desktop shortcut as described above).  After starting BaseLog the example files (example.dt1 and example.dt2) can be loaded by BaseLog just like you would load a file in a word processor. Try the various menu options and see how easy it is to change the data output to obtain the required statistics.
